Gerald Rinehart was born and raised in Western North Carolina, west of Asheville.  He is married and the father of two very active young adults.  Gerald is a self-motivated man, with the determination to succeed.  He is the owner and operator of Rinehart Racing, Inc. 

Gerald began Rinehart Racing in 1990 in the corner of an engine building shop, and since it's humble beginnings Rinehart Racing has experienced exponential growth.  Gerald's background includes building championship winning exhaust systems for NASCAR, Winston Cup Series (now Nextel Cup), Busch, Truck Series, IRL, NHRA, IHRA, AHDRA, ASA, Drag Cars and the record-holding world's fastest Street Cars.

A list of Gerald's business associates reads like a list of 'Who's Who' in the racing world.  Names like Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, Dale Jarrett, Terry LaBonte, Michael Waltrip, Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick, Steve Park, Kenny Wallace, Elliott Sadler, Mike Skinner, AJ Foyt, Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray, and Carl Edwards....just to mention a few.  Gerald is presently consulting with NASCAR on a CAR OF TOMORROW.
